Hello.

I’m Sofia, a graphic-designer-slash-illustrator based in Lisbon.

Since I started in 2009 I have developed illustration, branding, editorial and webdesign projects, both as a graphic designer and as a creative director, from early concept phases until their production and implementation. I’ve been lucky enough to work for such clients as Penguin Random House, Almedina, UNICEF Portugal, Lisbon Zoo, Chicco or Citroën.

I’m aiming for bright, meaningful, and joyful graphics that not only catch the eye, but also carry layered meanings and resonate with a variety of people. Each project is different, allowing me to explore new visual directions and the connection between illustration, photography, and type. And I love what I do — I hope that comes through in my work.
